At CVMC, the Community Relations and Development Department coordinates all communications both within the medical center and with the communities we are here to inform and serve.
We are responsible for news and information releases, publications, marketing, media relations, public relations, government affairs, donor relations and volunteers.
Who We Serve
Our audiences include residents of the central Vermont area, as well as potential and existing patients, our physicians, employees, donors, volunteers and the media. All of our activities serve to support the mission of CVMC, increase visibility and accessibility to our services, and educate the public on ways to live healthier lifestyles.
We handle all inquiries from the media relating to patient information, hospital operations, and other health related topics. Our staff will gladly help coordinate interviews with our physicians, staff, and/or patients with their permission. While on hospital property, a member of our staff will accompany all members of the media to ensure patient privacy.

At CVMC we are privileged to have dedicated volunteers of all ages who contribute their time, talent and energy in a variety of ways throughout the organization. CVMC Marketing and Publications
Community Relations is responsible for producing all CVMC marketing, publications, brochures, as well as maintaining the CVMC website and Facebook pages.
