Woodridge is a beautiful building designed for comfort and security, with numerous windows providing natural light and vistas of the mountains, the neighboring woods, and the lovely, secure outdoor courtyard.
The gem at the center of Woodridge is our beautiful courtyard featuring a patio with a vine-covered pergola and paved walking paths. In addition, a series of raised garden beds allow residents to plant flowers and vegetables in the spring to enjoy all summer long. This inner courtyard is completely secure, surrounded on all sides by Woodridge's wings.
A large Activities Room serves as the perfect space for our residents to work on community projects, such as baking, ceramics and other craft projects.

Placing Residents Based on Needs
When a new resident is admitted, we try to match his/her needs with the unit most suited to provide that type of care. In general:
- Spruce Common takes care of residents needing either short-term rehab or long-term care.
- Maple Grove takes care of those whose primary needs relate to dementia.
- Evergreen takes care of residents needing either short-term rehab or long-term care.
Nevertheless, you can expect that wherever your family member is located, the care needed for his/her specific problems will be available.
You should discuss your individual situation with our Admissions Coordinator (Sheri Speirs, at 802-371-4712 or email@example.com).
Private and Semi-Private Rooms
Woodridge has many private rooms and there is usually a waiting list for them. Our semi-private rooms are occupied by two residents. These rooms afford equal access to the bathroom, closet and large bay window. In all rooms residents are provided with a twin bed, a three-drawer bureau, a bedside stand with attached hutch, a wheeled over-the-bed table and an easy chair.
We also encourage residents to furnish and decorate their rooms with personal items of their choice.
About Short-Term Rehabilitation Rooms
Rooms available to our short-term rehabilitation patients have the same set up, furniture and amenities as our regular rooms but are conveniently located in the area closest to our rehab services. In addition, many of our short term rehab rooms are equipped with flat screen TV’s and telephone free of charge.
Internet: High-speed wireless Internet service is available to any resident with their own personal computer. We also provide a computer for our residents located in the upper lobby (see photo at right).
Phone: To arrange for a private telephone to be installed in a resident’s room, you must contact FairPoint Communications directly at 1-866-984-2001 and provide them with the following information:

(If you choose not to have a phone in the room, you may use one of the in-house phones at any time. Special arrangements can be made for residents who are hearing-impaired.)
Television: Residents may bring their own personal televisions to have in their rooms. Woodridge provides complimentary cable service, with 50 stations, for all of our residents. This is a standard package that can not be added or changed.
Radio: Woodridge offers residents access to Companion/Satellite Radio programming, which consists of four private FM stations with music, activities and entertainment programs geared towards seniors. To find out more about Companion Radio go to www.companionradio.com.
A professional hairdresser and barber provide onsite services to our residents in our personal care room. We encourage all of our residents to take advantage of these services. Appointments can be made through our Business Office.
